Outbound links
Page has outbound links
What this check looks at
Optia checks that the page links out to at least one external site.
Why it matters
Citing sources and pointing to authoritative external references is a mark of trustworthy content. It gives readers a path to verify claims and situates your page inside the wider topic graph search engines model.
How to fix it
- Link to primary sources for statistics, quotes, and claims.
- Prefer reputable, relevant destinations; a couple of good links beats a dozen weak ones.
- Add
rel="nofollow"orrel="sponsored"only where the relationship requires it (paid or untrusted links).
